Lake Hills

Lake Hills reminds me of a utopian village that I read about in one of Barbara Kingsolver’s books, although I don’t remember which one.  A place of diversity where everyone is welcome.  Maybe that’s because more than 50% of it’s residents were born in another country, while the rest of us identify with our  Asian, Mexican, European or African roots.

One of the things I love about Woodridge is the strong sense of community.  Think “Leave it to Beaver” or “Ozzie and Harriet” or “Dick Van Dyke Show”.  Here you will find neighbors who truly care about each other.  They also care about their homes and their yards as you can see on just about any street.
