Lake Hills reminds me of a utopian village that I read about in one of Barbara Kingsolver’s books, although I don’t remember which one. A place of diversity where everyone is welcome. Maybe that’s because more than 50% of it’s residents were born in another country, while the rest of us identify with our Asian, Mexican, European or African roots.
Most homes in Lake Hills were built between 1970 and 1999. Although there are a fair amount of mid-century homes as well. We are starting to see more mid-rise apartment buildings which will hopefully accommodate all the renters we seem to attract. Of course, being positioned between the main Microsoft campus and downtown Bellevue makes this area high in demand.
There appears to be more renter occupied homes than owner occupied homes. However, we expect to see a shift in the next year or so. If you are wondering if now is a good time for change, give us a call. I’m pretty sure we will make it worth your while.
