The art of connecting Real Estate with real People!
Peggy has lived, and worked on the Eastside of Lake Washington for companies like Microsoft, a marine conservation non-profit and a local gourmet food distributor, before starting a career in real estate. Back in 2005, she had a small family business that bought, remodeled and sold homes. As the market changed, Peggy shifted easily into residential sales where she also found a passion for working with the senior community.
She relocated from Texas 19 years ago and still remembers what it was like to start over in a new community. “During my first few months here, I made a game out of getting lost. This was long before we had the assistance of GPS and smartphones. Almost every time I took a detour, I discovered a new park or retail shop or restaurant.” What a great way to learn about the diverse neighborhoods and how they are connected.
Peggy is passionate about helping her clients find the home that best matches their lifestyle; whether it’s their first home, a vacation home, a real estate investment or downsizing for a smaller, more efficient lifestyle. She has the skills and experience of a seasoned negotiator, and the patience and resolve of a true advocate.
Her certifications and designations are a result of her ongoing pursuit to expand her interests and strengths. They include: Accredited Buyer Representative, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Negotiation Expert, Certified Results Agent and Accredited Professional Stager.
Her business is almost equally divided between working with buyers and sellers. “Having the experience of working on both sides of a transaction allows me to share valuable insights with my clients. Being a Realtor is so much more than selling or marketing a home. It is also being an excellent listener, a local resource, the voice of reason, and your support system.”
Now for the personal side of Peggy. She was trained as a dancer in classical ballet and modern jazz while attending the High School for the Performing Arts. Her love for the performing arts continues as she is a regular volunteer for the 5th Avenue Theatre, the Seattle International Film Festival and Issaquah’s very own Village Theatre. Favorite music venues include the Royal Room, Bake’s Place and Vino Bella. She also volunteers for numerous community events and charitable organizations including: Providence Senior/Community Services, Encompass NW, Downtown Issaquah Association and Seattle Uncorked fundraisers. During the summer/fall months, Peggy’s hobbies include hiking, golfing, bicycling, motorcycling and outdoor movies and concerts. Most likely you will find her in a nearby park with her favorite companion, Oscar the Bichon.
